Kitchi-Mi-Kana Bike Club is the Marquette
area's first bicycle club. The club started in 1895 and,
although it has been inactive for some time, we wish to
revitalize it as the area's cycling club in 2006. The
public is cordially invited to participate in any or all
of our rides. Just show up, wear a helmet, and s ign a
liability waiver. Riders at all experience
levels are welcome.
There is no fee per ride unless specifically mentioned
in our schedule. Membership is
voluntary, but we urge all riders who participate in club
rides to support the club with their membership and to
help through volunteerism.
Some rides feature mid-ride refreshment breaks and a
chance to socialize with other members. If
you have any questions we welcome you to visit one of
our events, and we will be glad to assist you. You
can also email us
with any questions or suggestions for the club or the
website. Anyone wishing to email photos for our
website would be doing us a favor, as we are currently
working on our photo gallery for kmkcycling.com.
